PIE CEO and Founder Nominated for 2016 ServeOhio Awards

CINCINNATI – (March 31, 2016) Mary Welsh Schlueter, Partnership For Innovation in Education (PIE) CEO and founder, has been nominated for the Ohio Commission on Service and Volunteerism’s 2016 ServeOhio Awards for the Southwest Ohio region.

“I am honored to be included with such a stellar group of inspiring and hardworking leaders in Ohio. As the founder of an organization which is now the no.1 developer of emerging career pathway curriculum for U.S. school districts in partnership with business, technology, manufacturing, arts and community leaders, we are thrilled to serve Ohio’s needs in developing new talent pipelines for companies operating in Ohio. We are committed to giving Ohio citizens a competitive ‘leg up’ in the global workforce,” said Welsh Schlueter

The ServeOhio Awards, made possible through support from corporate Stewards of Service, Honda of America Mfg., Inc. and AEP Ohio, recognize outstanding people, groups and initiatives in each region of Ohio who make great contributions to their communities through service and volunteerism. A cash award of $1,000 is issued to support the organization that benefited from the winner’s service. To learn more about the ServeOhio Awards, click here.
